    Live for the reason you are here. You were made for Gods pleasure.
    I am pretty sure it says that somewhere in the Christian Bible. You can get to know what God is like by seeing how he has interacted with others in the Bible. For easy reading go to the book of proverbs. When I feel depressed I read Ecclesiastes. It is depressing in itself somehow and yet sobering to the way life is.
